Our pet sitting service

Grumpy’s offer a reliable pet sitting service which operates 363 days of the year. We’ll come to your home and look after your pets while you’re away, we will look after virtually any animals but we feel that it is the type of service that cannot be used for caring for dogs.

The real benefit of using this service is that pet sitting can be arranged at very short notice and dates altered by just a phone call or text. Cats in particular can become very stressed in catteries and by using our service your pet gets to stay in their own home; with the added bonus that there is someone going in daily to keep a check on the house and pick up post etc. We have been offering this service for many years now and can offer testimonials from customers who have used our service.

What we do..

• Clean out litter trays

• Feed and give fresh water

• Pick up post

• Open and close curtains (to make the house lived in)

• Take bins out

• Clean up accidents

• Administer oral medication

Pricing

Pet sitting in 2024 is £14 per visit for most of the year. From 24th July to 1st September £16 per visit.

Bank holiday weekends and the Christmas period are £18.00 per visit.*

*Prices are per visit to your house and it’s assumed that you live within a six miles of the shop. Bank holiday weekends are from Friday to Monday inclusive. The Christmas period is from the 18th December to 2nd January inclusive.

We don’t cover Christmas day or New Years Day these can be catered for by double feeding the day before or sharing the feeding with your friends or family. we are also happy to set up auto feeders if you have them.

2025 prices will be £15 per visit. £17 per visit for the six weeks summer holiday (19th July to 31st August 2025) and £19 for bank holidays and Christmas.
